Customer Reviewsdon't buy this Review date: 2009-01-06 Rating: 2 out of 10 this was the worst mistake i've made in any purchase. not only is it not effective but the "sticky" pads are messy and more trouble to keep taking them on and off etc. not only that, when i tried to return it and was given an authorization # and told i could just give it to the postal person and i would not have to pay for the return shipping.... wrong. i ended up taking it to the post office and paying a lot for the return. as of yet i have not received a credit back on my card for the item and had to report it so they couldn't keep billing me additional charges. then had to get new cards etc. it was turned over to an investigator but as of yet i have not received any refund. when i first asked to speak to a supervisor he was one of the most rude and confrontational persons i have had to deal with in a long time. save your money and time. unless you are a glutton for punishment and frustration...stay away. one last comment...the current is not strong enough to do much good anyway. you have to(unfortunately) get up off the sofa and exercise the old way. i knew better than to think there were any lasting "quick fixes". If you follow the directions for care of the gel pads they will last longer. The control unit lets you know when the batteries need replaced or there is a problem with the pads. This product will tone your abs but you still have to eat a balanced diet and exercise. slendertone core toning Review date: 2008-11-09 Rating: 10 out of 10 i had my doubts before trying the product, but was actually pretty happy with it's performance. it is in no way a weight loss device, but i can really feel the tightening of my core muscles and the slimming, more pulled in, look of my abdomen. if you need to lose excess pounds, this product is not for you, but if you are already fairly thin and just need some help toning up then this is a really great product. it really does reach all your core muscles, much more than crunches alone. it helps tighten you up all the way around, stomach, sides and back. the only downside i would say is having to buy the replacement pads, but it's still a better deal than doing endless crunches. I am already pretty slender, but had developed a pooch belly from to much junk food. After using the belt at maximum level for two weeks (twice a day); my pooch is gone. NO KIDDING!!
